（ＣＮＮ） 米テレビ局フォックスが２９日に放送したリビングルームコンサート番組に、歌う整形外科医として一躍有名になった医師が出演し、ジョン・レノンの「イマジン」を熱唱した。
白衣姿でイマジンを熱唱しているのは、ミネソタ州ロチェスターのメイヨー・クリニックに勤務するエルビス・フランソワ医師。ピアノの伴奏をしているのはウィリアム・ロビンソン医師。
番組では演奏に先立ち、看護師が視聴者に対し、自分は重症患者のために長時間働いている、だから人との社会的距離を置くルールに従ってほしいと訴えた。
フランソワ医師がイマジンを歌う動画はインスタグラムで脚光を浴び、３５万６０００回以上も再生されていた。

２９日のコンサートは英歌手エルトン・ジョンが司会を務め、ビリー・アイリッシュ、マライア・キャリー、アリシア・キーズ、バックストリート・ボーイズなどがパフォーマンスを披露した。
コンサートの収益金は慈善団体に寄付され、フードバンクの運営などに充てられる。
